Welcome to Inorganic Ireland Symposium 2021
14th May 2021
Held remotely by National University of Ireland, Galway
Welcome: Welcome

We are delighted to announce the next edition of our Inorganic Ireland Symposium, which will take place virtually on 14th May.
It will be a one-day meeting, whose purpose is to strengthen the interaction of inorganic research groups within the island and to foster synergies and opportunities. The symposium will host a series of talks, oral flash presentations, and posters, and it aims to show the full breadth, diversity, and high quality of inorganic chemistry in Ireland. The symposium will also host high profile international speakers with Irish connections, including Prof. Serena Corr, University of Sheffield. Plenary talks will feature Dr Alison Parkin (University of York, winner of the 2019 RSC Sir Edward Fellowship), Prof. Nicholas Farrel (Virginia Commonwealth University, ICI David Brown Award 2021) and Drago Professor George Christou (University of Florida, USA).

We now invite you to submit a brief abstract to constantina.papatriantafyllopo@nuigalway.ie. Information on abstract submission and template can be found here. We very much welcome contributions from all levels, including PIs, postdocs and PhD students. Hence, please forward this message to any colleague/coworker that may be interested in participating.
